Grown on the best sites of our family run vineyard, only the finest grapes have been hand selected for this minimum release wine. Bottled & cellared with the finest winemaking traditions on our estate. It will mature well in the bottle for up to ten years.

SYRAH RESERVE 2006

 

Grape Variety: Syrah

Origin of fruit: Ripest selected berries, grown at Passage Rock,
Waiheke Island

Winemaking: Hand selected bunches are gently plunged and nurtured for 25 days during the fermentation process, the selection of quality oak barriques completes this rich complex wine

Typical flavours: Plum, cherry with a hint of pepper and vanillin spice

Nature of the wine: full bodied rich with lots of ageing potential

Food Match: rich flavoured food to go with this bold wine statement

Alcohol content: 14.5%

Cellaring potential: Up to 10 years
