Grape Variety: Syrah
Origin of fruit: Ripest selected berries, grown at Passage Rock
Winemaking: Hand harvested grapes crushed and fermented at temperatures up to 30 deg, the wine is then racked to mostly new barriques to complete malolactic fermentation. Bottled February the following year.
Typical flavours: Raspberry, plum, cedar, vanilla, oak, spice
Nature of the wine: Awesome bouquet, abundant flavour, best for any special occasion, winner of many awards, minimum release, a must try
Food Match: Top matches are red meats, duck, salmon dishes
Alcohol content: 14.5%
