Gewürtztraminer 2008 Gisborne The wine has intense aromas of guava and lychee with a hint of peach. An intense fruitbomb on the palate the wine finishes full, rich and delicious. 10% Taway Special/btl in June!

Waiheke Island Sauvignon Blanc 2009 This variety grows vigorously and so we need to remove leaves from around the fruit zone throughout the season. The upside is we get very ripe flavours of passion fruit and gooseberry and softer acid than other regions of New Zealand.  10% Taway Special/btl in June!

Sisters 2007 The merits & qualities of blending are reflected in this idyllic marriage of the traditional grape varieties of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc & Malbec.  Sisters displays rich aromas of violets, berry fruit & cassis.  By using a high proportion of new French & American oak barriques in the maturation process, the integrated vanilla flavours & the roundness of this wine have been greatly enhanced. Sisters is made for consumption upon release or cellar up to 4 years.  Perfect with a platter!	$9.00	$45.00

Syrah 2008 After an excellent season, the grapes for this Syrah were hand harvested & nurtured throughout the whole winemaking process. This dark, dense wine is one of Waiheke’s best & has won numerous awards in the past. This deliciously drinkable Syrah has aromas of ripe blackberry, plum & spicy pepper.  Matured in 60% new oak barriques. Reserve Syrah 2007/08 Grown on the best sites of our family run vineyard, only the finest grapes have been hand selected for this minimum release wine. A long, temperate summer has ripened the fruit to perfection & intensified aromas of ripe blackberries, plums & a hint of pepper. Expert aging in new oak barriques for ten months has enhanced the flavours with cedar & vanillin undertones & velvet smooth finish.This wine was bottled & cellared with the finest winemaking traditions on our estate.  It will mature well in the bottle for up to ten years.
